Net Zero Commitment Statement
Unimed Electrode Supplies Ltd is committed to achieving Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.
To support this commitment, we aim to:

Unimed Electrode Supplies Ltd is currently exploring a partnership with a specialist recycling provider using pyrolysis technology. Initial projections provided by the recycling partner suggest the process may reduce associated disposal emissions by approximately 70–80% compared with traditional disposal methods.
Carbon Emissions Statement
Unimed Electrode Supplies Limited is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2045. Emissions have been calculated in accordance with PPN 006, the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard, SECR requirements, and UK Government conversion factors, with support from Litmus Sustainability. For the 2024 reporting period, total emissions were 84.07 tCO2e, comprising Scope 1 emissions of 0.00 tCO2e, Scope 2 emissions of 1.20 tCO2e, and Scope 3 emissions of 82.87 tCO2e. The organisation has identified key reduction initiatives including reducing air freight, supplier engagement, product recycling initiatives, and data improvement projects.
